For more than ten years, spur: has been working to progress mental health, human rights, and more. From our humble beginnings in a borrowed Brisbane substation basement, to launching landmark projects like Soften the Fck Up, How is the World Feeling?, #OLDMATE and more - it’s been quite a journey.
Now, we’re excited to launch our next big thing: Sticks & Stones.
The culmination of all our work this last decade, and with an initial grant of $1.4m from Google.Org, Sticks & Stones is focused on harmful speech, hate, and how to build a more human internet.
Join us for an evening as we look back over the last 10 years of spur:, take an interactive glimpse of where we’re going next, hear from thought-provoking speakers, and have a drink or two on GOMA’s rooftop terrace.
