“Last year after Sarah Everard was murdered in the UK walking home from a friends’ house – it started a big conversation around women’s safety and the idea that we don’t consistently trust men because there’s so many that can be dangerous… One boy who I went to school with went on a rant about ‘not all men’ and spouted incredibly uneducated opinions. I was so angry… Other women told him to shut his mouth and get educated and he was fighting back. I posted a comment saying he shouldn’t be talking about stuff he had no idea about, and linked a few articles and he blocked me. In the end it was almost funny – almost.” – Female, 21, QLD - Kaylee
