Not knowing someone’s backstory is something I think about quite a bit. In terms of trying not to be black and white. ‍ If someone has views that are different to yours, there’s a reason why they are different to yours… Also, that putting yourself on a pedestal in a way. Putting someone’s life choices down specifically when you don’t really understand what things they haven’t chosen that have led them to that point or those particular views, whatever they might be… You kind of wonder what broad things might be going on for someone who feels angry and irritated after posting that. ‍They probably felt angry and irritated before posting it, so maybe they’re having a bit of a rough time as well. - Steve
